Can someone explain what is CPU clock, clock cycles and clock pulses in an easy way?

Solution
Can someone explain what is CPU clock, clock cycles and clock pulses in an easy way?
The cpu clock is used to keep everything in the CPU happening in sync. It's kind of like the drummer in a band as if he slows the tempo then the band slows down. If he speeds up the band speeds up until they can't keep up and it falls apart.

A clock runs in a a cycle...from a low to a high voltage back to low. The clock is seen as pulses, going from a low to a high voltage if you had an oscilloscope.

Solution
Can someone explain what is CPU clock, clock cycles and clock pulses in an easy way?
  • Clock pulse: A signal from a clock signal generator used to trigger an action across electronic circuits. When said circuit receives a clock pulse, it's basically told "do the next thing"
  • Clock cycle: The time period between a pulse (a high signal) and a not pulse (low signal) condition.
  • CPU clock: How many times per second the CPU gets a clock pulse
