i have a asus rog strix g16 2024 and recently when playing fort my cpu usage isnt high and the temperature is over 90 degrees celcius, the usage usually goes around 15-25%. it also spikes and makes my frames jitter. what could be the problem?

It is usually just poor design. Run HWiNFO and check to see what the PL1 and PL2 turbo power limits are set to by the BIOS. You can try reducing these two power limit values in the BIOS.what could be the problem?

i have the 13650HX cpu processorWhat CPU model do you have? Is it the Intel 14900HX? Many similar laptops set the Intel Turbo Power Limits way higher than the cooling system can manage.

If you have an Intel HX CPU, you can also try reducing the CPU voltage as long as Asus did not lock out voltage adjustment.
It is possible that the factory did a poor job installing the heatsink. Most people that just bought a new laptop are not interested in immediately having to do surgery. If you ever do decide to replace the thermal paste, try using Honeywell PTM 7950. It tends to last a lot longer than many of the popular replacement thermal pastes.

Go to control panel/power options/select balanced plan/change plan settings/change advanced power settings/im trying to figure out how to set a minimun cpu performance to 20% but i cant figure out how, it doesnt let me modify any of the settings?
