Hey guys I have an old Pentium G2020 CPU and I want to upgrade to i5-3470 because I heard most Games (Especially GTAV) Depends a lot on CPU.
Here are my Specs

Intel Pentium G2020 (Wanna upgrade to i5-3470 if the i5-3470 give me good FPS and Speed.)
Geforce GT710 1GB DDR (I may upgrade this later)
4GB DDR3-1333 RAM (2x2)
PSU Green GP380A (380 watts)
Mobo Gigabyte H61M-S2PV (REV 2.2)

HDD 500GB Hitachi

So will I gain noticeable/high FPS Boost (20-30 FPS Boost mostly in GTAV) and Good Speed boost in Windows (e.g. Boot time, Office Programs, Searching the Web, etc...) ?
Will there be a huge difference?

Don't know if it will be enough for you but...
While on the current specs, make sure you're on the latest BIOS update. Then you can look into dropping that i5 or higher onto the board. In all honesty you won't see much gains with that GT710 on the system. You should look into a GTX1050Ti/1650 but you will also have to change out the PSU to something more reliable and with higher wattage.

Lastly if you want a boost in the system, invest in an SSD.

Don't know if it will be enough for you but games will certainly work much better. Mundane, everyday tasks like Searching the Web, etc, not so much but adding more RAM and an SSD would also enhance "Look and feel" as well as BOOT times.
For MS Office, Excel, Power point and picture handling would benefit most.

Thanks, I might Upgrade my GPU to a GT740 DDR5/GT 1030 which doesn't use much power and are minimal for gaming (Sufficient for my Gaming). So will I be able to see 20-30 FPS Boost in GTA V and noticeable speed boost in Windows?

Of course it's enough for me, I do Potato Gaming like Mafia 2, GTAIV and V at lowest settings 720p, etc... then will I get a 20-30 fps boost in CPU-hungry GTAV? Also if I upgrade to i5-3470, will photoshop load and work so much faster? Thanks

I believe you would get more than 20-30 FPS for GTAV at least, Photoshop may run faster but will still be limited by RAM and HDD. You really need to upgrade RAM and ad an SSD for full effect. Even cheapest 120GB SSD, just for OS and main programs is many times faster than even best HDD which is worst bottleneck for any system.
