CPU Upgrade Advice

I’ve been looking into upgrading my CPU after bad CPU performance in Squad but i want to make sure the one i buy is worth the money and works well with my current build. I would like to get at least 6 cores and preferably one that does not require a power supply upgrade. my motherboard supports 10th gen and LGA 1200. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Current Specs:

CPU: Intel i3-10100

Motherboard: Gigabyte B460m Ds3h AC

GPU: RX 6600 8GB

RAM: 16GB 2666 mhz

PSU: 500W

See if a 10400 fits what you want.

Probably would require a psu upgrade, but would almost suggest an i7 so it would last longer. But the i5 should give a bump as well.
