[SOLVED] CPU Upgrade Worth It?

I want to be able to live stream tv and live sports from Portugal / Europe...



Currently I have an Intel E2160 with 4GB DDR2 RAM and a Nvidia GT 710. Spectrum Cable Internet (hardwired to pc)

My motherboards maximum upgrade is an Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 so is this upgrade worth it? or should I invest in a whole new motherboard?

personally i think you should invest about $300 cad and get a new ryzen, am4 motherboard and 4gb of ddr4 ram

I am mostly trying to watch KODI I managed to find an I5 3570 3.4ghz w/ 8gb ram...

That's plenty to just watch movies on. Though don't mention it here if you are illegally streaming or anything like that. We can't help you with that. It really wouldn't be worth it to just upgrade to a Core 2 duo. The Core 2 Duo is more of a sidegrade rather than an upgrade.
