[SOLVED] CPU usage at 100% until restart

Hello everyone, I just rebuilt my computer and everything seemed fine at first, but now sometimes when I boot my computer up it runs slow and I noticed my CPU usage pegged at 100% for the first couple of minutes. It's not overheating, the temp never goes above 40c. The CPU usage then goes down after a little bit until I try to open anything which brings it straight back up to 100% though things seem to run a little better but not as fast as it should be. I opened task manager at startup, but nothing seems to be using all that much CPU, and once I restart the PC it seems fine. Heres my build and thanks for any help in advance.

Time to get down to the nitty gritty....

Microsoft Sysinternals... Process Explorer. Go get that, it will help you drill down to everything that's running on your system.

I've already done that as stated in my post, nothing is using a unusual amount of CPU. I tried diabling CCleaner on start up since I saw online it can cause high CPU usage on startup but it didn't help. I'm at a loss here.

So...you have something running that's causing 100% CPU use-age and hides from detection with Task Manager.

hmmmmm. a real puzzler.

I don't know if you are being sarcastic or not but either way not helpful. It didn't start happening until after I rebuilt my system and only happens intermittently so I was kind of wondering if it's hardware related and I highly doubt I got a virus in that short period since I have comodo real time protection going. I'll scan when I get home.

How long has it been happening? Maybe Windows is installing updates? My computer does this when it's either downloading updates or installing them, and then goes away after it's done.

Definitely run a virus/malware scan and see if it detects anything.

I ran Avast, Malwarebytes and Comodo antivirus and nothing came up. The CPU still pegs to 100% usage after I start the computer up for the first time that day and persists until I restart.
