Is it better to sacrifice your GPU for a better CPU or investing more into a GPU and CPU (without bottlenecking)? Specifically for programs like Adobe After Effects, and Cinema 4D. Then, a little bit of light gaming.

Solution
Adobe titles, and Cinema 4D, are all highly CPU intensive. You will do much better putting as much into a highly threaded, meaning more cores and hyperthreads, CPU, than sinking a lot into the graphics card. That's not to say that having a moderately well performing graphics card isn't still important, because it is, but the CPU is definitely the more important consideration for those processes.
