CPU vs RAM vs MB compatibility

Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade to a MotherBoard with Thunderbolt 3 and USB C .

All the MB I'm looking at so far are incompatible with my intel core i7 4790K and my Corsair Vengance 8GB 1600 RAM.

Any suggestions on a MB that would work for me without upgrading these 2 components as well?

Well, it uses socket 1150 so any MB with that socket would work. They all use DDR3 memory so that shouldn't be a problem either.

Well I ended up getting the ASUS MOBO Z270 , had to upgrade the processor and RAM :,( . Sweet part is windows worked without issues.. so far didn't need to reinstall or format my primary SSD. I however formatted a secondary SSD and installed windows on it before hand.
