Hi, I know this is a noob question so be kind but I just built my first PC and I put an i7 4790k in it and downloaded CPU Z to make sure my CPU is performing up to snuff. In CPU Z under the CPU tab it's showing my core clock at around 799.50 MHz. The i7 4790k is supposed to run at 4.0 GHz, is this just for one core and all of them add up to around 4 GHz (it would still be slightly low)? Or am I looking at the wrong thing? How can I tell if my CPU is running at 4 GHz? Also why wouldn't it be? My CPU temps are very good, hovering around 33 degrees Celsius while watching youtube videos and surfing the web. Can someone help me figure out if my CPU is running at what it's supposed to be at?
