CPU-Z shows my RAM manufacturer as Kingston whereas it is a Transcend RAM.

Solution
It probably means Transcend bought the memory chips from Kingston. This is a common occurence and only few companies actually manufacture the chips themselves. Nothing to worry about. Also some manufacturers resell specific quality chips and sometimes you find that a well regarded manufacturer will still be from another company but always use top of the range products from the other companies that will reach a certain level of specification that they require.

Yeah they buy the DRAM from a variety of manufacturers, then test and assemble the memory modules. They don't mention Samsung, and they seem to work with niche manufacturers like Nanya and Powerchip.

Kingston has developed long-term relationships with the leading DRAM manufacturers. Our DRAM chips are purchased directly from these manufacturers, which include Micron, SK Hynix, Powerchip, Nanya and others. The components are shipped directly from the manufacturer's facility to Kingston's facility minimizing handling and exposure to damage.
