Hey,

i have just started to build my new computer now. I have got the case and PSU fans ect, i need the MOBO and CPU anyone that reccomend a good combo like i was looking into the Asus A7V8X if i remember right? and the AMD XP2700+ BT, what is a good XP cpu that will last mee and is fast? If you have any suggest on combination of mobo and cpu that would be greatly appreciated.

If you overclock, the NF7-S and the xp-m 2400/2500s are great combos. Not that you need to oc so much as adjust them to a comfortable multiplier and fsb.

Are you open to an Intel chips? As for amd I would recommend mobile chips as they seem to be of a superior quality
