I'm thinking about overclocking my AMD Duron 850mhz, what would be a good stable speed to overclock it to without additionally cooling, i currently have an OEM Coolmaster Fan and Heatsink on it.

I mean as in as much as possible but stable and no additional cooling, i was hoping for around 900mhz to about 1ghz

Just try it....when it becomes unstable or too hot, you've reached your limit. Every processor is different, you can't accurately predict how far they will oc.

I think you can go up to 1130MHz,
if you have a 133MHz RAM.
Mult = 8.5
FSB = 100 (oc to 133)
CLOCK = 133 * 8.5 = 1130 MHz.

good luck at topping 1ghz...the durons morgon or spitfire core both just don't o/c well.

Just be careful with the voltage. Older Duron CPU's, like yours, will smoke if they get overheated.
