Hi,

I'm building a new rig and I'll add a custom waterloop to it, obviously i'll be overclocking... I know that the IB cpu's are not as good overclockers as the SB ones but my question is: who wins, a "fully" OC'ed SB or a "fully" OC'ed IB?

Also, how much faster is an i7 in handbrake vs an i5? ( I know google is my friend, but as I was already asking the other question I thought, why not? :kaola:

Don't bump dude, moderators get a bit narky when you do :)
you can't say 'fully' clocked as every chip is different, one 2500k might hit 5GHz easily, whilst another will struggle to get 4.6 stable,
and I don't know the IB/SB's well enough to say about handbraking sorry

Yeah I know, but which should be faster?

How much faster would it be? If its half the time then for me it's worth it!
