I heard a crackling sound from my pc.
I think its coming from the hard disk area.
It happens when I turn my pc on and lasts for about 2 or 3 seconds and after that its working fine.
My hard disk is relatively new and I have had no problems with using my pc normally.
But I have a fear whether this sound is something to be concerned about.
Is it ok to ignore that??
It lasts for only a few seconds but still I am not sure.

If it lasts only few seconds after boot it's quite normal as it's working hard at that time. Some are noisier than others but it's mostly due to self check when heads have to go to it's limit stops.
