Crank up i3, original fan, how far can go?

Hello,
am going to crank up i3-530(2.93GHz). With the original fan from intel, how far can I go? 4.0GHz? 4.2GHz?

Any requirement for the DDR3 RAM?

Others have done 4Ghz with the stock cooler.

It really depends on the chip you get. I have a 530 and mine seems to be voltage hungry compared to other 530s, but I could still safely get it to about 3.9 with the stock cooler.
