I've just bought Company Of Heroes 3 on PC and meet the minimum system reqs. Every time I load up the game a dialog box pops up saying my video drivers are old (but all my drivers are up to date). Game loads but when I 'press any key to start' to enter main menu it crashes to desktop. My PC meets minimum requirements (i5 CPU, GPU is r9 280x). I have reinstalled the game, checked all drivers, validated game files, run as admin, checked DirectX version (12), not running any mods.
The GPU is old (released 2013) and AMD have stopped releasing drivers for it (in 2022) but it is more powerful than the minimum reqs GPU (r9 370, released 2015). Do you think it's just a case of GPU is too old or something else?
I have no problem running Company of Heroes 1 and 2 on this machine.
