I've Been having a strange vCard crashing problem with my Radeon 9700, BBA. I put it in a difffent computer for a few weeks, had no problems there.
I took it out to put back in my computer, worked fine for a few days, then the problems came... Now, it crashes. It dosent seem to matter what i'm doing, I can play games for hours, no problem. Usualy, it happens when i've left it on for a few hours. I walk away, from the computer, and i come back to find all the power still on and fans running, but the monitor is black, and it's little power led flashing like when it's in standby.
The other time it crashes (this does not happen as much) is when i'l see strange colors flash on the screen, and then i'l get the "ATI VPU recovery" error message, asking me if i want to send a email.
I really don't think that the card is damaged. I have all the drivers ect. My specks are-
GA-7VAX(kt-400)
2500+@2.04ghz
R9700 (non pro)
420watt thermaltake purepower
WD 800 jb
Any ideas? Thanks a lot guys!
