Crazy Climber PCB question

I'm stumped.

I have 2 Crazy Climber PCBs.

PCB#1: Is screened with the 1980 Nihon Bussan copyright. Also has "CC"
stickers on the ROMS and also a "CCxxxxxx" serial ## sticker that matches
the "CCxxxxxx" sticker that's on the green Z80 encryption blob. The
encryption blob has a Nichibutsu seal on it.

PCB#2: No copyright info screened onto the PCB but it DOES have the green
encryption blob and it DOES have the Nichibutsu seal on the green blob.

What I am wondering is whether both boards genuine? Will a bootleg/clone
board run with the green encryption blob?

Seems odd that the one PCB has the copyright and manufacturer screened onto
the PCB and the other one does not. Possible that PCB #2 is an early
version ..??

I've checked Google and can't seem to find much on this..

Thanks!

they probably both legit, can't be for sure without pics of #2.
but I have seen many different version of the pcb's from Nichibutsu.
some screened with name, some not.
I have seen three versions,
1 with Nichibutsu screened on the lower pcb.( these came on rare CC deluxe
only).
1 with Nihon Bussan screened on the lower pcb.( these came on most games)
1 without any markings ( came on many games)

yup, they are both authentic pcb's

I love CC, it's my favorite game of all time.
I have owned all 6 versions of it at one time.
Here's a pic of my baby.

do you sell that to Tim?
looks familiar, he's fixed it up quite a bit.
I recent sold him a part for it.

It went to a guy in Central PA if I remember correctly - it was a number of
years ago.
