Create New Folder

When I create a new folder in XP pro it doesn't come up with the
folder name highlighted, ready for me to type my own name. As other XP
machines do. Instead it just creates a folder named New Folder and
puts it at the bottom of the directory. Any ideas how I get it to stop
on the naming part of creating the folder?

Thanks,

Not Prompted to Name New Folder in My Documents After You Click "Make New
Folder"
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;307133

You Cannot Specify a Folder Name When You Create a New Folder on a Mapped
Network Drive

You cannot automatically rename a new folder on a mapped network drive on a
Windows XP-based computer

These only seem relevant when creating a folder in explorer, my doc's
or on a mapped drive, but I got the problem always. Anyway it seems to
have somehow fixed itself. Mystery!?
