critical pocess died windows 8 after update

i instaled latest uptade and i get critical process died i cant get into safe mode i cant get anywhere system restore doesnt work i get i need to disable anitvurs but how cna i disable it when i cant get to the dekstop nothing when i try full restore it justs gets me back into advanced repair option nothing works. pls help....

well, if you can boot your machine you will want to run malwarebytes virus scanner.
(most likely cause is malware modifying certain windows files)

i can't boot i didnt touch anything..... i just force updated my pc and then this happened

i have the same problem... after installing an optional update by windows and restarting, i get this same problem... can't repair, can't enter safe mode, nothing will work...

I've exhausted all my options, and unfortunately I see no other way to get back on my feet other than to reinstall windows from scratch...

way to go Microsoft..

Fortunately, all my files are stored on my secondary drive, so I'm hoping I didn't loose anything too crucial.. but... yea...
