SAPPHIRE ATI HD 5870 2GB GDDR5 (Eyefinity Edition 6) and + SAPPHIRE ATI HD 5870 Vapor-X 1GB
hello all,
I have just joined today am glad to be here.
I am normally any Nvidia person. However, I needed a six screen solution for work and the games here and there.
However, I have started to notice that there are some really good games. So my friend recommended that I should crossfire which is the envy dear equivalent SLI. The ATI cards.
I have just bought a SAPPHIRE ATI HD 5870 2GB GDDR5 (Eyefinity Edition 6) with six HDMI connectors. In the post
The guide I bought this told me that I can crossfire. The SAPPHIRE ATI HD 5870 Vapor-X 1GB with the card above.
Unfortunately I am absolutely new to the ATI series, However I am willing to learn. I have read some reviews regarding the card, but I am not a hard-core gamer. Do not get me wrong, I do enjoy my games, and the latest one that I am playing is assassin's Creed brotherhood.
At present I have two GTX 9800 in SLI. 512 MB each card.
Questions/advice
I would like some advice if I should cross fire the two cards above or not?
is it true that when you cross why the card you can use all the video ports, the reason I ask this is because on the Nvidia card. You cannot do this.
Anything that will help me with this new card which I am going to be receiving shortly
