Crossfire on an mATX

So what I have is an ASRock Extreme4-M with a CM Hyper 212 plus over an i5-3570k and a HD 7970 in a Silverstone Temjin TJ08-E. Also I took out the main HDD bay and just have the SSD down the bottom so there is some space.

Was thinking about getting a second GPU.
Was just wondering if anyone has any exerience with Crossfire on an mATX, is it possible?

It is possible, however it is quite hard on the GPUs (they get rather warm being sandwhiched up like that, and can suffocate (fans not getting enough air).

I'd be cautious, and consider getting another case and mobo.

It's perfectly fine, BUT you'd want cards with blower style coolers
