I have a monitor that would occasionaly not black out but kind of fade out in colour - it would kind of colourize itself for a moment or two and then flash back to normal.
Well for one reason or another I took away my speaker system and it kind of stopped - only occasionaly fading out but this time not a noticeable redish tint, it was just more of a contrast fade that was bearable.
Since getting Silent Hunter III though I decided to put my videologic speakers back into action and I've noticed the red tint is back so I'm now thinking that it's the speakers that have done this to my monitor?
Does anyone know why and what can be done?
Mainly I'm curious as to whether i get a new monitor it will break in this same manner, or whether I can do anything to stop it breaking.
It's a kind of old cheap 17" monitor so I won't be losing much, but I don't want to buy a new one only to damage it.
New speaker system is not on my top priority as they have little use for me beyond the odd game.
THe speakers I have are old too videologic 5.1 system. Not sure of the name. They aren't even called videologic anymore Frown
What about TFT monitors too, do they suffer from speaker interference?
Can someone just try and point me in the right direction please?
