Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR- exactly the same non-Tracer?

Hi,

I'm contemplating getting Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR modules - are they exactly the same as normal? I'm talking about when running at 294FSB, for example, will the timings be exactly the same?

The SPID timings will be detected and set those defaults by system BIOS after installing them.

Yes they are the same chips... just make sure timing rating is the same when comparing the two.
I always manually set my timings in the BIOS...

I just thought the flashy lighty thingys may interfere with the running of the RAM, making it slower or something.

But obviously not, so I suppose I'll just have to get them then, seeing as the Crucial UK site is selling them for only 6 GBP more than the non-flashy-thingy sticks 🙂

Edit: and just as I was going to, they go out of stock. How could 50 of them vanish in a day? Must be a stocking error.
