Crucial MX100 SSD cant have a partition created on it. "The media is wirte protected"

So I got a new computer and all and transferred my old storage componets over only to find that my SSD is stuck in a write protected mode. Before I switched them over I thought I formatted the whole drive but I guess not??? I've searched the internet for hours and can't find any solutions how to fix this. Read only mode is apparently off when I run it through Diskpart on command prompt yet I still don't have any access to the SSD at all. It cannot be formatted, nothing. Any help would be nice. Thanks in advanced

Use Gparted to overwrite that. You just download the 200MB iso might be less now, then you just setup your partitions. Forgot to mention this at first, gparted will over ride most write protections for SSD. How big is the SSD? What's on it?
