Hi,

I have 2 Crucial MX500 M.2 SATA SSDs, both of which do not show up ANYWHERE when in the bottom M.2_2 slot of my Asus ROG STRIX B450-F Motherboard. When I say anywhere that means they don't show in; file explorer, bios, disk management and computer management. And while they are plugged in they have a solid red LED.

Specs;
    • PROCESSOR: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X CPU, 12 Cores / 24 Threads, 3.7 - 4.8GHz
    • Power Supply: Corsair RM850x 80 PLUS Gold 850W PSU
    • GRAPHICS CARD: AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT 16GB Graphics Card
    • CASE: NZXT H510 Tempered Glass Case - Black
    • MOTHERBOARD: Asus ROG STRIX B450-F Motherboard
    • COOLER: Corsair Hydro H100x CPU Cooler
    • Memory: 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX Black DDR4 3200MHz AMD Ryzen Tuned Memory (2 x 8GB Sticks)
    • OS Drive: 250GB Seagate BarraCuda 510 M.2 PCIe Solid State Drive
    • Solid State Drives: 1TB Seagate BarraCuda Solid State Drive
    • Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Is it simply the problem where in they are just not the right ssd for the mobo slot?

(edit: they are from an older pc and i thought it would be a shame to have to get rid, and idk much about m.2)
