[SOLVED] Crucial P5 2TB NVMe SSD - damaged in shipping?

Just received the P5 and to my untrained eye it looks as if it were crushed during shipping. For those of you who have knowledge re: P series design, please take a quick look at the linked photos and tell me if you think it's OK or if I should immediately ask for a replacement.

that could be just a low spot on the thermal pad/sticker...

See if it works, and, if it does,....problem solved.

Thanks for your suggestion. I'll give it a try as soon as I get an enclosure for the SSD,
