Hi guys,

I bought Crysis 2 and only avereging 45 fps with my Asus Gtx 760 OC.

CPU : i5 4670k 4.0 ghz

8 gb 1600 Ram and MSI z87-g43 motherboard.

Everything is on Ultra and VSync off. Used FRAPS to measure FPS. It averages 45 fps at the beginning of the game,

Is it normal or there is a problem ? Version 1.9 of the game and DX11.

That's very normal. Crysis 2 is an immensely demanding game. If you're playing at 1920x1080, this shouldn't be a surprise. If you want to keep Ultra settings and get a higher frame rate, try turning down Anti-Aliasing (AA) in the advanced settings.

Even in Crysis 2 ? I thought Crysis 3 should be tuff for GTX 760. I`ve seen on youtube people playing Crysis 2 with like 55-60 average on GTX 760. Maybe I am wrong.

Make sure they haven't overlclocked. I have a GTX 770 and I'll get somewhere between 45 - 55 fps depending on where I am with it. I remember at the beginning of the game, I wasn't get much higher than 50 or 5 on Ultra.

sounds a tad low, i was getting about 40fps average with a single gtx660 on ultra settings.. i had to get a second gtx660 (2x 660's are about equivalent to a 780) to keep solid 60fps with vsync on that game on ultra preset. Without vsync i get well over 60 fps though. just turn down some settings, i remember post processing to be the biggest fps killer, or turn off dx11 just run dx9.

Watched the video and this seems similar to what I am getting. I guess to to OC my GTX 760 :)
