I recently transferred my disk copy of Crysis to Origin by contacting EA. After I installed the game it would open to a black screen for a few seconds, then crash. I had this same issue with the disk version, but also with the disk version it had an error that said the application was not compatible with my PC and I had to upgrade my operating system. I have tried to run as admin, run in compatibility mode, and force it to run in DX9. None of these worked, here are my specs: FX 6300, R7 370, 8GB of 1600 DDR3, and A 970 GAMING MOBO.

I beleive that it has something to do with the FX chip and the 32bit Crysis.exe. Find the 64bit file and start it from that....(it was in the 64bit BIN folder)....

Okay, I found the Bin64 on my hard drive for the disk installation, there are two Crysis exes, Crysis and Crysis64. Crysis results in the "this application is not compatible with the installed operating system." Crysis64 opens, has a black screen for a few seconds, then crashes with an error box saying "Crysis has stopped working". In my Origin install, I don't have a Bin64 folder, but the Crysis exe in the Bin32 folder opens with a black screen for a few seconds, then crashes with the error box saying that it has stopped working.
