[SOLVED] Crystal disk info total read/writes

Trying to see info on total disk writes and it only displays - - -

How to get the program to display the information?

CrystalDiskInfo has a Text Copy function which enables you to save the SMART data to a file. Otherwise use the PrintScreen key to capture your screen to the clipboard, or you could use the Windows Snipping Tool.

It appears that CrystalDiskInfo doesn't understand WD's vendor specific attributes, but that need not be a problem. We can probably decipher them … if we can see them all.

The exact same thing is happening to me on my Seagate HDD, WD HDD & SSD. No Total Writes or Reads info.

Any solutions?

Not every disk records total writes, from total of 3 HDDs, two SATA SSDs and Samsung 960 evo is only one that does.

That's a WD Blue 3D, it absolutely should list those details but you may have to look for specific values. Look under ID "F1" to find total host writes and "F2" for total host reads.

Maybe update CrystalDiskInfo? Current version is 8.5.2 ?
