Hello. the problem is this-
In cs go. if i have anything OTHER than +fps_max 144 in launch options for example (freq 144 or refresh 144 instead of +fps_max 144)
the game gets screen tearing, is sluggish, generally unplayable.
same if i set fps to 999.
in NVCP i have V syn - ON and
G sync is on for fullscreen and window mode.
if i set v sync to off, or remove g sync the game is no longer smooth and get tearing.
ingame v sync is off.
geforce GTX 1060
driver version 445.87
Inter (R) core (TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz
15.94 GB RAM
1920 x 1080, 144 hz
ASUS rog PG248Q (g sync)
in cs im running 1440 x 1080 4:3 stretched
i dont understand why i have to have v sync on in order for the game to be smooth, everyone say v sync should be off.
been trying to figure this out for years ;D haha
problem no 2 is if set my monitor to 180 hz
+fps_max in launch options 180 and put it to 180 everywhere else, the game WILL NOT go over 144 hz.
if anyone has any tips or tricks, i would appreciate it ty
