Hello,

I just got a new AMD gpu (rx 6800) and started playing some CS:GO and the game looks really grainy/pixelated. It's also on the steam overlay and on chats and stuff. Also my fps is really low (150-250) lower than with my previous gpu (gtx 1070)
I do play a lower stretched res but it shouldn't make it this pixelated because I didn't have that with my previous gpu on the same resolution. (Note that it also lags on 16:9 1080p)
Here's some pictures of my steam in chat in csgo and a different game:

Some specs:
AMD rx6800
Ryzen 9 3900x
32gb DDR4 ram

sorry if this is in the wrong category I couldn't find a better one

Solution
Try These, method worked here :
  • Uninstall all the GPU Driver Using DDU (both nvidia and amd gpu, no need to plug nvidia card, just choose nvidia, clean and do not restart, then amd, and clean and do not restart), and download the motherboard latest bios, extract and copy it to flashdrive, plug it onto the top rear usb port.
  • Uninstall all the processors in device manager (should be 24 lists/devices in processor tabs) like this, then boot up to bios:

  • Update the motherboard bios to the latest
  • Install the latest AMD Chipset Driver, reboot, and choose amd ryzen balanced power plan
  • Install the latest...

Do it all without internet connection, download all the files needed first.

Also try to turn on hardware accelerated graphics scheduling after doing all of that.

Hello, I updated my bios earlier so I skipped that skip.
For the rest I did everything except install the Radeon drivers without internet (I did it with internet because the download before I turned of my internet didn't work)

I just launched Apex Legends to test and it was stuttering really badly and and it was also looking a bit grainy

How about CSGO? What Ram speed did you use? also you did plug it on slot 2 and 4 right? Did you Daisy Chain the power cable from the psu to the gpu slot? if you do, could you do use 1 cable per slot.
