Question custom build shows screen for 5 seconds then goes black

so I am doing my first custom liquid cooled pc build and I am running into an issue where the pc will display on the screen for a bit, then go to black, i am pretty sure it is a problem with the graphics card, however I can not get it to use the built in graphics at all so I am not sure

ryzen 9 3950x

Is the graphics card properly connected?
Looks like it has 2x 8pin PCIE power connectors, but you have connected 1x 8pin and 1x 6pin instead.

Please use 2 separate pcie power cables to connect power to the graphics card. Use 2x 8pin connectors.

i have tried dp, and hdmi both of them do the same thing

latest bios? test with 1 stick of ram?

Idk why my motherboard has hdmi out then
And I tried with 1 stick of ram, same thing happens

motherboard have output if you have an APU, like 3400G, 4400G, etc

what the monitor model?
test with dp?

The monitor is an Asus 27 inch, the model is vs278, but I have also tried it on my other monitors and the same thing happens, all my tests have been using dp

try update the bios. or get another gpu for testing

Ok, I plugged in the 2070 from my other pc, and now dr debug gives shows an a9 on the mobo
