Question Custom gaming PC won't turn on

PC was used like normal with no issues, left for food, and came back after about an hour to the PC off and not being able to turn it back on. Fans don't turn on or anything, however my keyboard lights up when I connect it to through one of the USB ports in the back of the PC. Also, when I disconnect the power supply for a while and turn it back on, the LED on the motherboard turns on for a split second before turning off again. Any suggestions?

As I understand the GPU specs 500 watts is the minimum PSU requirement.

650 - 700 watts recommended.

Could be that the PSU is at or nearing a premature EOL (End of Life). Especially if there is a history of heavy gaming use.

Is it possible to swap in another known working and higher wattage PSU for testing purposes?

FYI:

Two reasons:

1) Apply the calculators to size the appropriate wattage PSU for your build.

2) Review the listed PSUs for performance, quality, and availability within your area.

Remember - if installing a modular PSU to use only the cables that came with that PSU.
