CX500 PSU is enough for Asus GTX 970?

Solution

If buying it new I wouldn't recommend the CX 500. If he already owns it then no need to replace it. But I don't recommend group regulated designs with sleeve bearing fans and unreliable capacitors.
The 970 will work with it. Not the most reliable PSU, though, so if you are buying new, increase your budget for a more reliable and higher-performing PSU. Also, not sure if you heard or not, but the RX 480 comes out in three days and should be cheaper and better than the 970.
