$1000 for a pc you will hate almost instantly is definitely too much.
Its APU system without dedicated graphics so will run modern games at low & medium settings and many old games at higher setting.

Whats your intended use for this desktop? Games - no. General use & light games it will be ok. Music, media playback & etc - yes it will be fine.
Still for general use you can do better for far less IMO.
