I recently got my hands on two GTX Titan X (Maxwell) both of which have PCB damage and seem to be completely dead and unresponsive when put into a computer. Is this repairable?
Normally, here I would say that only replacing those components would not fix what caused them to blow in the first place. However it is now known that nVidia has skimped on their inductors for awhile now even on their high-end products, so the problem is just that the components selected simply aren't robust enough for the loads that they see in use. Go for it, as such cards would still be very useful. I refer you to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BBEasRiM_M
