Essentially what the problem is that ever since I upgraded at Christmas to an i7 6700k, z170-p and 8gb of 3200mhz ram, I have been having freezes on my dark souls it happens every 10-20 minutes roughly sometimes sooner and what happens is the whole game freezes, the sound continues but the game stops, in my processes on my task manager it uses little to none processing power. I have tried all of the solutions so far such as clearing old drivers and playing in with different settings however nothing has worked. I have even uninstalled steam and reinstalled it which did not fix the issue. One other thing which I think is linked to this is that when ever I plug a device in on steam then it will crash my steam and whatever game I am playing at the time. I have no idea what could be causing this, but at this point half of the game time on this game has been watching a still screen while listening to my friends having fun. I don't believe that my hardware could be the issue but I will contact the company which I got them from as well. Thanks a lot for reading, Rhys
