DDC Pump Died?

Ok. I just built my loop and I had it leak testing after removing all the bubbles by rocking the case back and forth gently to remove all the bubbles. It was working just fine but then the pump stopped and I can't seem to get it to start back. I never let it run dry, so I don't know what happened.

So have I. Those Molex connectors are usually cheap and don't seat the pins well.

The pin retention in the connector is so pitiful it is easily pushed clean out of the connector, and you think it's made the connection but it hasn't.

Exactly. This was why I mentioned it so early on...the few D5/DDC pumps I've owned have all suffered from this problem. However, once you get the Molex connections made, there is rarely reason to disconnect.

I RMA'd the pump and ordered another one and it died the exact same way. I am never ever buying from alphacool ever again. I am buying from EK from now on. Fuck Alphacool and their shitty company and customer support. Horrible products from a horrible company. Never again.

2 pump failures in same fashion seems very unlikely. Also, DDCs and D5s are all basically rebrands of Laing.
