DDR2/800: OCZ Platinum or G.Skill CL5D?

Will be using 4x2 GB in a P5Q Pro?

Anybody have OC experience with either of these RAM in a P5Q series board? How did you make out?


(CPU=E8400, so I plan to start at FSB 400, RAM divider 1:1, CPU 400x7.5, and work from there.)

Your multiplier is x9. With FSB of 400=3600mhz. Ram would be 800mhz at 1:1. Actual FSB=1600 (4 x 400) Perfect

400x9 is a 20% OC of the CPU. YMMV, but I prefer to see whether the system runs before OCing.
