Hi...

I just want to know which one would be a better choice

Trancesnd ddr2 dual channel 800 4gb

or

Axe Ram ddr2 1066 2 gb

which one will be better for games?
should i go for higher GB or higher Mhz?

Im not planning to OC these modules but i would definetly OC my proc which is E2160, i dont know if its possible though that i will OC my proc but not my mem...

Hello and welcome to the forums mate :)

Go for the DDR2 800 because :

1_The difference isnt much
2_DDR2 800 is cheaper
3_DDR2 800 OCs very good too

go for a DDR2 800 with 4-4-4-x or lower timings

Agree, with you'll be fine with DDR2-800. With this one, you have 400MHz DRAM speed. It means that you can push your FSB up to FSB-1600. Which is more than enough for your need (OC-ing E2160).

But, for sure it would also depend on your mobo/chipset :)

ok... this will be my setup.....

E2160
GA EP35-Ds3R
4 gb 800mhz transecend ddr2 dual channel

I plan to OC my Proc to 3.0 to 3.2 ghz...
So i will be push my fsb to 333 with multiplier of 9x so that will give me a rooghly 3.0 ghz of cpu.

If i do this, i dont have any idea what will happen to my proc.

What if they are about the same price? I'm getting a Q6600 and plan to OC. There is Crucial Ballistix Tracer 2x2gb DDR2 800 4-4-4-12 and Corsair Dominator 2x2gb DDR2 1066 5-5-5-15. What would be ideal to OC with?
