DDR2 RAM combination problem

Solution
If you want 4 gigs of ram your manual says you need (4) 1gb of one sided memory, but you can try 1gb 800MHz one sided, 1gb 800MHz one sided, and 2gb 800MHz two sided. If that does not work you can do 1gb 800MHz one sided, 1gb 800MHz one sided, and 1gb 667MHz two sided for 3gb of ram.

Resetting CMOS is usually done by shorting a jumper on your motherboard for a few seconds. To find out whre it is you will want to review your motherboard manual which you can often find online from the manufacturer, but it is often near the small round battery. You can also remove the battery for about 20 seconds to achieve the same result. Make sure the computer is off and unplugged. The motherboard model is usually printed on the motherboard and you can also identify it using the program CPU-Z under "mainboard." Some memory controllers have difficulty running 4 stick of memory and need voltage increased. In BIOS if you have that option you can try to increase the North Bridge voltage to up to 1.4 volt. Bumping the memory voltage up .1 volt may also help, but try Northbridge first.

You can't damage the PC by resetting CMOS as long as the PC is powered off and unplugged - it is commonly done to reset the BIOS to default values, but usually only when the computer won't boot to BIOS. You should go into BIOS and select "select optimized defaults" instead of resetting CMOS to see if that solves your memory issue. If that doesn't work, in BIOS set your memory to AUTO. If that doesn't work increase your Northbridge voltage by .1 volt at a time to up to 1.4 volts (it's probably at 1.2 volts currently). It is not dangerous and is also commonly done. I expect that will work if nothing else has since it will give your memory controller more power to manage the 4 sticks of mismatched memory. If that doesn't work go into BIOS and "relax" the timings. For example if your timings are normally 5-5-5-18 try 6-6-6-18. If that works then you can go back later and "tighten" the timings to as close to the original until it doesn't boot again then go back to the previous setting when it did boot.

minimum is 1.80 at 2.20 says tgat its not recommanded settings system may be unstable , and max is 3.30

NB Voltage (V)
Min:1.250V
Max:1.650V
Color Message :
Gray : Default Voltage or Safe settings
White : High performance settings .
Red: Not recommanded settings . System may be unstable .
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DRAM 1.80V Min , 3.30V Max
1.80V - 1.95V Gray
2.00V - 2.20V White
2.30- 3.30 Red
--------------------------------------
NB Voltage 1.250V Min , 1.650V Max
1.250V - 1.325V Gray
1.350V - 1.425V White
1.450V - 1.600V Red
--------------------------------------------
Rehed said NB voltage more than 1.4 and that is white is it safe?
Rehed said DRAM to 1.9 and that is gray its okay
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So i first try with NB at 1.4V and DRAM at auto ?
If that doesn't work i'll try with DRAM 1.9 and NB Auto or 1.4?
