Speed of main memory is very important for anyone using a build in GPU that use's SMA. In that case the performance difference between the two gets pretty noticeable. But again that's in on board graphics, something that's not popular with gamers and thus rarely thought about.

Hello everyone,

I have a question. What is the tendency of price reduction of DDR3? Can we expect further drop in the prices as we see every 1-2 mounts? Can we expect cheaper DDR3 RAM in the future or is it now the lowest possible point? Is there any difference between normal DDR3 and SODIMM DDR3 modules of laptops or do they go "hand-by-hand"? I am especially concerned about the European market.

Thanks
