ok i cant think of the right tite for this tread but anyway
i want 22 PCIe lanes at gen 3.0
i want to use my DDR3 ram sticks
and i want to use intel
but some genius thought lets use only ddr4 on 2011-3 board understandable but some retard said lets discontinue 2011 sockets? that allow you to use DDR3 ram is there and sockets like 1150,1155,1151 or what ever that alow me to use DDR3 and 22 PCIe lanes or more on intel.
btw to get full use of PCIe SSD is my intention as well as the above
please please someone agree with me that something is wrong somewhere?

Welcome to the world of PC Technology Progression. Things progress and not always the way you want them to. We don't have a say in how things progress (other than whether or not we buy it, en mass). You tell me what's wrong:

1) Technology advances so fast that some components that are perfectly functional become out dated.
2) In order to get a useful lifetime out of the components we purchase, technology advances are intentionally delayed.

You are out of luck if you want a modern platform.. Maybe an Ivy Bridge-E system will fill your needs.. X79 is the chipset you may want to look into but only the newer ones.. Other than that you are out of luck.. It is the way of tech. 30 pin simms to 72 pin simms(EDO and Fast Page ram), to SDRAM to DDR to DDR2 to DDR3 to DDR4. I can't run a Skylake cpu in the same socket at my intel 486 dx 33 now can I??

It just doesnt make sense theres plenty of i7 2011 cpus available but not one motherboard. Why have they stopped selling 2011 boards and switched to 2011-3 rather than have both on the market? Its just infuriating.
