Hi guys,
I've an ASUS P8P67 B3 (latest bios Version 3602) with 16 gb of DD3 Vengeance 8x2 gb 9-9-9-24 1.50v ver5.29:

I needed to expand to 32gb, thus I order another pair with the same specs (the only difference is the version 5.21 and the size):

I've put the new rams into the 2 available slots of the motherboard, but got a solid red on the DRAM_LED and the system didn't boot.
To check if one of the new sticks was defective I've removed all ram sticks and just tried one by one. The result was that with one of the new stick the system booted normally, with the other I got again the solid red on DRAM_LED and system failed to boot.
I thought then this last one was faulty, thus I've tried to boot with the good old ones in layer channel on DIMM_A2 and DIMM_B2 and the new good one on DIMM_A1: again red led and system failed to boot. I've tried also to switch, putting the old sticks on DIMM_A1 and DIMM_B1 and the new stick on DIMM_A2, but same result.
The strange thing is that if I put the new sticks on DIMM_A1 and DIMM_B1 in dual channel without the old sticks, the system boot! I have no clue...
This is the layout of the motherboard for reference:

Can someone explain me what's going on? Are the new and old version of the same RAM incompatible (but they should since its the same frequency, cas and voltage)?
