I am considering buying an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X. I was thinking about what RAM to pair it with. I've heard Ryzen performs better with faster RAM. Now, G.SKILL offers both 16GB a Trident Z Neo kit of 3200MHz CL14 and a kit of 3600MHz CL16. Some people say that 3200MHz CL14 is better. Some people say that 3600MHz CL16 is better. Some say it doesn't matter. I don't know which to believe. Which is better?

Solution
In terms of latency and bandwidth, CL 16 3600 is best. It's latency is about the same vs CL 14 3200 but with higher infinity fabric speeds.

Nanosecond equation; CL ÷ Frequency × 1000.

CL 16 ÷ 3600 × 1000 = 4.4ns

CL 18 ÷ 3600 × 1000 = 5ns

CL 14 ÷ 3200 × 1000 = 4.37ns

CL 16 ÷ 3200 × 1000 = 5ns

Thanks. The 3600MHz CL16 is $20 cheaper anyway.
