I just added 2x8 gb of g.skill rip jaws V DDR4 2400 to my rig. So now I have 32gb total 4x8. But all 4 are only running at 2133 and won't change to 2400. I have a maximus viii hero alpha motherboard and a i7-6700k cpu.

Solution
You are reading the boot up value of the RAM, not the actual/current operating value. Look somewhere else like CPUz or ADAI64 and confirm it is running ~1200MHz or DDR4-2400

So I have xmp turned on set it to 2400 but in the dram status it still says they are all at 2133

So if Cpu-z sys my ram frequency is running at 1200 mhz its good?

No...this is what he's looking at:
https://www.google.com/search?q=maximus+viii+hero+alpha+bios&biw=2048&bih=1057&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&sqi=2&ved=0ahUKEwjgkKyZ65XSAhXH6YMKHRCoB8YQ_AUICCgD&dpr=1#imgrc=4HrzBwBnlPKG6M:
It's showing 2133mhz as the operating value.
His motherboard wasn't made in the 90's.

That is literally what i see, but on the top with the information it says 32000~ DDR4 (2400) (dont remember the exact number)

And the instead of 4gb i have 8 gb each with XMP at Profile #1 DDR4 2400 15-15-15-35

I'd like for you to take the first set of memory out of the board and put the second set in the fist set's place. If your second set of memory runs a 2400mhz, that means the both sets are incompatible with each other. You can try to return the fist or second set for another attempt. However ultimately you might have to purchase a set of 4dims, so they come in the same package, ensuring their compatibility.

ok i did that and it runs at 2133 for the second set, But i also used cpu-z to look it up for both sets and all 4 together. set 1 says 2400 in bios and runs at 1200mhz. set 2 says 2133 in bios but says it runs at 1200mhz. Then i put all four together again in bios it says 2133 but in cpuz they all run at 1200mhz

Well I guess I stand corrected. Sorry gskill support, apparently you know what your talking about. That's still weird how it showed 2400 properly in the first set, but doesn't when adding the 2nd set.
