Question DDR4 Purchase

Right now i'm running a 2x8gb kit of ddr4 2400 crucial ballistix ram. I am considering moving from my Z270 setup to a AMD X570 in the near future. Rumor has it that Ryzen 3000 will run ram at over 3733 mHz.

Will I notice any improvement on my current Z270 by going from 2400 to 4000? I'm not even sure if Ryzen 3800X will work with 2400mHz.

Any DDR4 ram will work in any system
Speed makes it run faster only if the motherboard can use it.
Z270 is old and not as fast as x570
