Since it is a "thing", yes, people know about it.

Is it something you should worry about?
No.

Whenever you build up your next system, if DDR5 is the relevant RAM for that motherboard, that is what you buy.
Don't 'upgrade' just to go to DDR5.

Thanks! I asked because I'm still on DDR3(it's doing fine for my needs) and DDR4 don't tempt me to buy(because of the CPUS and their prices, not ram) so I will stick with what I have until DDR5 will come and make a even more significant upgrade.
