[SOLVED] Dead PSU?

So last night I turned down my pc, this morning I turned it on, did some things around my room, then left. (The pc booted to windows from what I saw). Came back to my room about an hour later to see it powered off. Pressed the power button, nothing. Attempted to unplug the psu connecter along with flipping the button, nothing. However I did hear the psu click, like it would if it were to power on. So I opened the pc, checked connections, nothing. I unplugged all but a fan, used the paper clip trick on the psu, heard a click but nothing happened, neither the psu or case fan powered on. Could it be dead? Thanks.

The PSU is my first suspect.
I think the evidence you stated points to that.
...especially the paperclip test.
I would replace it.
